Drop the charges against
the leaders of the movement
for Justice for Elijah
McClain!

On September 17, 2020, multiple Denver-area police forces carried out a coordinated series of arrests of lead organizers in the peaceful protest movement which has demanded justice for Elijah McClain, a young Black man murdered by Aurora, CO police. Three of the arrested organizers, Eliza Lucero, Joel Northam, and Lillian House, were held in jail for eight days in degrading and dangerous conditions before they were brought before a judge. They now face numerous felony and misdemeanor charges that could put them in prison for as many as 48 years. This attack is a plainly political prosecution aimed at stopping the movement for justice for Elijah McClain, an attack which threatens the First Amendment rights which underpin every movement for justice. Add your name to the petition calling on the Aurora District Attorneys to drop all charges against the arrested protest leaders!

I demand that all charges be dropped on anti-racist organizers in the Denver area. It is an obvious political frame-up aimed at stopping the movement for justice for Elijah McClain and an assault against the First Amendment rights to free speech and assembly.
